Just 10 minutes from Park Rapids, this home away from home offers it all. Beds for the whole family, 2 bathrooms, & large private yard is everything you need for a much needed "break". Brush Lake is a small, semi-private, lake that offers peace and tranquility - best used for canoeing & paddle boarding.

The Cablet at Howville

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on Boyer Lake. This Cablet “tiny cabin” is situated on our home property of 16 acres on a state game refuge. We have wildlife including bald eagles and deer. There are hammocks and a unique 9 hole disc golf. Access to the lake for fishing, boating, and kayaking. The Cablet has electricity, heat, A/C, microwave, Keurig coffee pot, mini fridge, and an outdoor porta potty. There is no shower. Picnic table, outdoor chairs, and fire pit/wood provided.

Looking for some quiet and solitude our cabin is located in the country sitting on 20 acres of wooded land with walking trails, wildlife, and solitude. But we are still just a short drive to nearby communities for numerous activities to enjoy. We have kayaks and a canoe for rent enjoy an evening on a nearby lake watching the sunset and listening to the loons or enjoy some fishing from the kayak. In the winter enjoy our Outdoor Sauna, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, x-country skiing, or ice fishing.
