Newly Remodeled Tiny Barn Studio 3 Miles to LU

PLEASE NOTE our animals have moved back to our new Airbnb farm stay in Bedford. Guests staying with us in Lynchburg can visit our baby goats and petting zoo free of charge at our Peaks of Otter Farm stay. 25 baby goats as of 3-31-25! ROMANTIC, BEAUTIFUL, UNIQUE and COZY is how our guests describe our barn studios. The studio apartments offer private baths, private entrances, kitchenettes with fridge and microwave. We are 3 miles to LU in a great part of town and close to food and shopping.

Peaceful tiny house with amazing view of Sharp Top Mountain! Features: hot tub, outdoor dining area, small kitchenette amenities, and smart-tv w/firestick (must use your hotspot to stream). 10 min to BR Parkway, Peaks of Otter, and Claytor Nature Center. Wineries, orchards, and hiking nearby. Friendly dogs may occasionally visit from my mother’s house next door. (Look for Wind Tides Farm sign). ***If booking in winter months, keep in mind the wind tends to be heavy, depending on weather.***

Selah Acre's Alpaca Farm Cottage

A quiet cottage for young and old alike! Situated on a farm with hiking trails, creeks & streams! Coffee, tea, cream, sweeteners and snacks await you! The "Kitchen" includes coffeemakers, fridge, microwave, toaster oven and a 2 burner hot plate with all necessities to cook (there is no standard oven or kitchen sink - if needed we will pick up your dishes and clean them for you!). Fresh linens and towels are provided. The cabin dates back to the 1800's and was recently restored.

Whispering Pines

Completely renovated home on a quiet country road. New kitchen, bathroom, and deck. Private backyard with deck, grill, outside table and gas fire pit. The house is easily accessible with a flat driveway and one step up from the sidewalk. One king and 2 XL twin beds with all bedding washed after each guest. Bedrooms have room darkening shades. 300 Mbps wifi and a smart TV in the living room. Check out the Airbnb next door (Maple Glen) if you are traveling with a larger group.

Tiny Cabin in a Country Forest

Far removed from the road and any city noise, our cabins are nestled in-between pastures full of horses and cows, within an easy walk of a healthy creek and fishing pond. Between our breathtaking sunsets and our add-on options (horseback riding, wagon rides, hiking, fishing, a free petting zoo, etc.), there's not much that can beat the value of our facility. You get privacy without isolation, outdoors without "roughing" it, and all within an easy drive of Smith Mountain Lake.

The cottage features beautiful views of the Peaks of Otter Mountains among fields of grazing horses and donkeys. Sunrise and sunset are truly magical hours on Roaring Run Farm.

Pine Haven Farms

Make memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Pine Haven Farms is a working farm. Spread out and enjoy the pastoral surroundings. We are located less than two miles away from Magnum Point Marina at Smith Mountain Lake if you want to add some lake time to your vacation stay. Please be aware that electric fencing is used for the cattle. Children should be supervised at all times.

Private Cottage at Starry Hill Farm

If you're looking for privacy, this is the perfect place for you. Nestled atop a hill on a 30 acre farm, visitors will enjoy a stunning view. The studio has a queen-size bed with tasteful decor. The national forest is only a mile away. Locals enjoy floating the James River and hiking the AT. The cottage is 30 minutes to Lexington and 20 minutes to Roanoke.

Rose Cottage- Charming 1940s Farm Stay

A charming 1940s cottage, completely restored, situated on a farm with beautiful Peaks of Otter and rolling pasture views. Two miles to Rt. 460, D Day Memorial, restaurants, and shops in historic Centertown Bedford. Centrally located between Smith Mtn. Lake, Lynchburg & Roanoke. The sister cottage next door is also available to rent.
