The Loft is located on the second floor of historic Lawyers Row, circa 1840, in the heart of Centertown Bedford and close to the National D-Day Memorial, Poplar Forest, Smith Mountain Lake, The Peaks of Otter and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We think you’ll love the close proximity to Centertown's local shops and restaurants, and be impressed by the craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into renovating our vintage building. Tall Oaks Retreat

Relax with the whole family at this most peaceful place to stay. We welcome 2 - 6 guests to our spacious home overlooking a pond. Our closest neighbors are deer and Canadian geese. Each room features elegant surprises -- a quiet reading nook, 2 gas fireplaces, breakfast in our sunporch, double wine/soft drink fridge, serene dining room, well-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms plus a study with daybed, spacious living room, 3 full baths, and lower-level game room, right next to the full laundry.

Airbnb does have a place for adding this nominal fee. Just leave it on the TV Desk. Please put your pet in a crate when leaving the cottage. No pets on the furniture.

You are welcome to grill out on the Blackstone, enjoy the fire pit, and relax on the dock. There are two miles of trails on the 37-acre property with their own trail signs and map.
