Chicken Coop Guest House on Olympic Peninsula

Originally the cottage was a chicken coop on this 5 acre ranchette nestled in the small farming community of Happy Valley. As the valley became more residential the cottage has been nicely converted to a comfortable indoor/outdoor living space. Pasture and farm still abound and mix with wildlife and recreation. Olympic National Park and Forest just to the south. Strait of Juan de Fuca and Dungeness Recreation Area to the north. Pacific Ocean to the west and Hood Canal and Seattle to the east.

Everyone is welcome to a very private and magical place in the riparian forest, only a 5 minute walk to the Dungeness River and less than 5 minute drive to downtown Sequim, Wa. Our most recent visitors tell us that we are a stand alone destination. A respite to relax and reboot . Our one bedroom cabin with a fully equipped kitchen offers a chance to enjoy a private and uninterrupted access to the Olympic rain forest, while affording you easy walking or biking to the small village of Sequim.

The Secret Garden

We are on the edge of town, but feels like miles away. This sweet cabin is peaceful and charming, surrounded with gardens, fruit trees and wildlife. Although we are within the city limits, you'll feel completely removed from the hubbub of daily life, with plenty of stores and restaurants near by. The Olympic Discovery trail runs very close by, making it easy to take a walk or bike ride. During the summer, feel free to pick a few raspberries, figs, peaches, apples, pears and even kiwis!

New self-contained Studio nestled on 5 acres of private, quiet farm land located in a valley less than 2 miles off Hwy 101 with a view of the surrounding hills. Elk sometimes wander throughout valley and coyotes may be heard at night. 2 miles from the City of Sequim and John Wayne Marina and Sequim Bay where there is access to fishing, canoeing and kayaking. Plenty of outdoor fun with hiking trails, lavender farms, lakes, wineries, restaurants and shopping nearby.

Sequim Studio with a View

Relax and enjoy yourself in this spacious studio with a view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the San Juan Islands. This newly renovated 800 sq ft studio is the perfect place to watch ships sailing, track the weather moving across the water, and spy Mount Baker. The unit is located close to the John Wayne Marina, the Olympic Discovery Trail, lavender farms and downtown Sequim. The Olympic National Park and the ferry to Victoria, BC is just a short drive away.

Bird's Nest

Private guesthouse with it's own entrance and yard. We're located above Sequim, approximately 2 miles from downtown shops, restaurants and parks. Very close to the Olympic Discovery Trails, Sequim Bay State Park and Marina, Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge, Dungeness River Audubon Center and Railroad Bridge Park. The Olympic National Park, Hurricane Ridge and Deer Park are close enough for day trips and Neah Bay and the coast are approximately 2 hours away.

Situated right off of Hi-101 it’s a short trip into downtown Sequim or even enjoy the town over, Port Angeles in only a 20 minute drive. If you prefer the scenic route take a right out of our drive way into the backroads of Sequim where you'll find a range of nature views like our personal favorites "Cline Spit" or the "Voice of America".

One of the most unique homes in Sequim. This 1961 built log cabin was once a part-time residence of singer-songwriter Glenn Yarbrough and has the charm and appeal of a one of a kind getaway. Located only minutes from downtown Sequim, the log house has an incredible view of the San Juan Islands, Strait of Juan de Fuca and Canada's Vancouver Island. Enjoy the feel of seclusion and quiet, while being only minutes from downtown.
