Private Cozy Third Floor Space

This was formerly a servant's quarters in a large colonial home on the third floor and accessed by a private stairway that leads from the first floor to the third floor. The living room and bedroom are both large with original wood floors and are appointed with a comfortable couch, chairs, full-sized bed, books, wall decorations, a big flat screen TV, private bathroom with tub and shower with all newer fixtures and there is also a small refrigerator and micro-wave. It is a totally private space.

This antique home is perfect for families or wedding parties traveling together looking to explore downtown Salem. Experience the charm of Salem's McIntire district in the home originally built for tailor Henry Derby in 1838. Our unique home is conveniently situated close to routes 95 and 128. It is a great base camp for day-tripping to Boston or various points on the north shore (Salem, Beverly, Gloucester, etc.). There are numerous restaurants and stores of all types located nearby. Our house has historical significance and has been thoughtfully maintained. The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. A few minutes walk to a multitude of great restaurants, shops, galleries, the witch house, ghost and witch tours, trolley tours, Salem ferry, Pickering wharf, Salem witch museum, witch dungeon museum and a few minutes drive to Salem Willows and the house of the seven gables. All three bedrooms that are on the second floor will have AC units from mid June till September.

Seven minutes to commuter rail for those who desire traveling into Boston, no hassle!
