Raithal is a small, fairy-like village located in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The cottage is located at 2250msl and has absolutely stunning views of the Himalayas range. The food eaten here is locally grown. Raithal is known for Dayara Bugyal, located at 3408m. It is an 8.5 km scenic trek all the way to the top. We are located in Sersi village, just 200 meters from the Kedarnath Highway at the roadhead. Parking is available within the premises. Phata (6 km ahead): Helitaxi service to Kedarnath. Gaurikund (12 km ahead): Starting point of the 21 km trek to Kedarnath. Sonprayag (7 km behind): Gateway to Triyuginarayan (15 km), the sacred place where Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati were married in Treta Yuga. Kalimath (30 km behind): A revered Siddhipeeth, where Goddess Durga took the form of Kali.
