The Worn Doorstep Guest Suite in heart of village!

Light and airy guest suite attached to main level of our family home. Includes one queen bed, full bath with shower, and kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, tea/coffee facilities, toaster and sink. Shared barbeque located on lower level. Small private patio off the back of the suite and parking in front. There are no shared spaces in the suite. You will be centrally located and convenient to many popular tourist destinations: Iona & Highland Village 15 min.; Inverness Beach & Cabot golfing 45 min.; Baddeck 40 min.; Mabou 40 min; Cabot trail 20 min.

Welcome to “Point Beithe” (birch point in Gaelic). This beautiful home sits on its own point surrounded by 180° of Mira River waterfront age. You will also enjoy access to your own small private island that is connected by a shallow sand bar. Sit out on the large deck or floating dock to enjoy the views of the river, launch kayaks, paddle boards, and swim. We have signed up for the strongest internet service offered in the area (Starlink). Cellular reception is not great in the area.

Explorer's Cottage provides a country experience on 150 wooded acres, with a private beach, a botanical park-like forest, bird watching, an orchard, a Japanese meditation garden, library, paved pathways, and a hiking path, all with a refined interior. Included: WiFi, coffee beans and tea, charcoal and propane bbqs, firewood, tv, fishing gear, + canoe. 4.5 star rating by Canada Select. Leaving the cottage empty for three days in between bookings for guest health and safety.

Simple but extremely comfortable our second home has all the amenities you will need for a relaxing getaway! Fully equipped kitchen with open-concept, cozy living room. Two double bedrooms and a full bathroom are on the second level. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening nightcap on the master bedroom balcony. A sunroom on the main floor completes this welcoming cottage.
