Built in 1867, the Averill Block is consider the oldest continuous use commercial building in the State of Michigan as well as the oldest building in downtown Bay City. The 12 ft ceilings and 8 foot tall windows allow for a light and airy feel. Located steps away from everything in downtown Bay City, you can simply park your car for the weekend and walk to everything. This is a fully furnished open floor plan efficiency located on 40 acres of farmland. There is a generator to assure power in case of a power outage. It is equipped with HD premium Dish,Wi Fi, and a full kitchen with all appliances & housewares. A well provides the water, and is a very good quality. The hot water is on demand. It is located next to a pond and fire pit. It is not suitable for children under twelve years of age and maximum occupancy is two.
