Charming private cabin on seasonal stream

This wooden cabin has a vaulted wooden ceiling and bamboo floors. Camp Creek flows past the deck to the Siuslaw River. Beautiful tranquil forest vistas are there to inspire you to write your novel. Inside amenities are brand new, including a Wi-fI dishwasher, oven, washer and dryer, microwave, wall-mounted swivel TV, and a ductless heat pump. A spacious bathroom has a glass shower, toilet, and vanity basin with large mirrors. There is a beautiful cedar deck with gas BBQ, railing, and two gates.

Our private cabin nestled in the countryside provides a quiet escape from city living. Resting in a private peaceful clearing, the cabin offers sweeping views of a private pond and lush forest. Despite the rustic scenery the cabin has been recently remodeled and comes fully equipped with all the modern amenities to make you feel right at home. The property is 15 minutes to the University of Oregon, and Wine Country. And a short 25 minute drive SW of the cabin are the Why-pass Mt Bike Trails.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Trade in the city sounds for the tranquility of Abiqua Creek. You'll enjoy the newly remodeled cabin located between two favorite local swimming holes. Please note that access to the river is less than three minutes down the road to the right/left of the cabin. This home features a fantastic front porch to drink your coffee on and a large backyard! Both Silver Falls State Park and Abiqua Falls are under 20mi from this location and worth the trip.

The river can flood during the months of November, December, January, and February. We may be able to accommodate a request to stay, but weather may require a short notice cancellation. We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During winter, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minute drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak. Alsea Falls is a 25 minute drive. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minute drive, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. Cabin is on our private property where we live as well.

Driftwood Heights is a 2 Bedroom, 1½ bath, 1024 square foot single level ocean view house that sleeps 6. Nestled among the windswept pines the last house on a private dead end street, you'll find beach access just 11 houses down the street. There is also a secret path for older children and agile adults that will get you to the miles of sandy beach to walk on. This is a perfect house for two couples.

Stay in our peaceful cabin, nestled in the forest along the Yachats River. A short 5-10 minute walk will take you to both the beach and downtown Yachats. This special cabin in the Quiet Water community earned an award of merit in Sunset Magazine in 1985! ** Pool and hot tub are only available mid June through Labor Day weekend.
