Near the cabin is a trail head to a private hiking trail that takes the adventurer down into the canyon where the scenery is otherworldly. Enjoy a sunset with full cascade Mountain View’s, green pastures, and grazing horses.

The Ponderosa cabin is part of House on Metolius, a private resort and nature reserve on the pristine Metolius River. Enjoy views of Mount Jefferson across the natural meadow, and the gentle arc of the river as it traverses the property. The cabin itself features a bedroom with a king-sized bed. From the sitting area or the private deck, you can hear the Metolius River tumbling through the gorge below.
