Welcome to Drift Away! We invite you to our home in the woods, just 10 minutes outside of Golden, BC where you can surround yourself with mountain views, wildlife, and serenity. We look forward to hosting you and becoming the basecamp for your adventures in the Columbia Valley! Enjoy our fully stocked suite with all the amenities to live in the woods in comfort. With such close proximity to the backcountry, multiple national parks, and ski resorts, your adventure begins the moment you arrive.

A beautiful and new "Kosy Kabin" from Kicking Horse Kabins, built to a high quality by a local carpenter. Stunning location, beautiful views in the heart of the Blaeberry Valley. High quality Kabin with a rustic feel, with private hot tub. The pricing description is for two guests. Any additional guests (to a max of 4 guests) would be at an additional charge, by advanced agreement. We are a dog friendly property, (max 2, dep on size) are welcome with advance notice only. Pet fee applies.

Wolf Cottage

Wolf cottage is nestled in the trees and is perfect for a peaceful pit stop, with a feature double log bed, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and microwave, table and 2 stools, bathroom with hot water shower, towels provided and NEW for 2025 a great sized outside deck area with BBQ. There is a loft area that could sleep 1 or 2 small adults accessed by a ladder. Nice mountain views and lots of back country recreation on the doorstep including the river, waterfall and glaciers.

Two Ravens Yurt: Modern, Romantic, Eco-Friendly

It’s said that ravens mate for life-And so Two Ravens was built with all kinds of love for all kinds of people in mind. An easy 10 minutes from the town of Golden, our completely unique, elegant, extremely romantic, custom built, all season yurt (winter is actually our favourite time at Two Ravens-so cozy!) and attached shower house combines beautiful modernity in a lovely, forested pastoral setting. Private but close to all amenities, we're certain you'll want to come stay more than once.

Castaway Cabin

If you are looking to enjoy a cabin surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, look no further. We welcome you to a fully equipped, non pet-friendly 400 square foot 2 bedroom cabin 15 minutes north from Golden in the Blaeberry Valley. After a day of activities such as mountain biking, hiking, fishing, skiing, snowboarding, sledding, or just passing through looking for a getaway from it all, this is the place to unwind. Our house is 100 feet from the cabin but we will value your privacy.

Buffalo Ranch ~ Buffalo Cabin

A quaint, private, hand made cabin in the woods overlooking a creek and buffalo pastures surrounded by majestic views of the Canadian Rockies. It has a very clean attached toilet. This cabin is off the grid, candle light, outdoor and indoor kitchen area, wood stove and propane back up heat, romantic and cozy, private fire pit, with Super Host status! 4 more private rentals also on ranch on airbnb all starting with Buffalo Ranch~ Guest House/Sauna Cabin/Wagon in the Woods/Bunkhouse

The Lazy Elk - Lodge with Mountain View & Hot Tub

Make lasting memories with friends and family, enjoy all the outdoor activities the area has to offer and be surrounded by nature, or just relax at home, in the hot tub or spacious living area and enjoy the views.

Wolf's Den

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Listen to the wolves howling right outside your window at the neighboring Wolf Center. Stay warm on those cold nights with the infloor heating and wood stove. This cozy little cabin is nestled in the beautiful Blaeberry valley, with great trails along the river's edge only a few minutes walk away.There is a full size shower and comfortable outhouse that has ample lighting that comes on automatically when it gets dark.

A magical place to spend a weekend or a week of relaxing and adventuring in the surrounding National Parks, 4 of them are less than an hours drive from the lodge. Your only regret will be that you didn't stay longer.

Welcome to our beautiful home located in the Blaeberry Valley which is within 150 km of 5 National Parks and only 15 minutes from the Town of Golden. We are on the same street as Northern Lights Wildlife Centre (Wolves) and around the corner from The Buffalo Ranch. The Blaeberry offers many hikes and Thompson Falls is only 14 kms away.
