Llanhilleth Miners Cottage with valley view

A wonderful little miner’s cottage located in the village of Llanhilleth in Blaenau Gwent. It's just a couple of minutes off the A467 bypass (A467 is NOT 20mph from M4 J28). Great for visiting the local tourists attractions, such as the UNESCO Blaenavon World Heritage center, the Brecon Beacons, castles, roman ruins and St. Fagans. Fast road to the M4 if visiting the coast. Dogs are welcome. Free on street parking and the local valley train to Cardiff Central Station just 6 mins walk away.

We have the best of both worlds, stunning countryside & easy access to local amenities. We’re on Domen Fawr which is over 1653ft high. At the top you can see Pen y Fan & central Brecons. Heads of the Valley is nearby & provides great access across South Wales. Cardiff is an hour away by train. We are a quiet retreat, ideal for walkers, young families or couples wanting a relaxing, peaceful break. Pets are welcome but there are additional charges. Please ask us in advance as we have our own dogs.

With direct train links to Cardiff & Newport, and the Brecon Beacons within easy reach by car, the cottage works well for work trips, family visits, or exploring the wider area.

Charming , former workman's terraced cottage, on the fringe of the Brecon Becons (Bannau Brycheiniog, less than 10 minutes by car.) A quiet location at the edge the national park, with spectacular mountain walks virtually outside the front door, as well as amazing views of the Welsh mountains from every window. There is a quaint, private little court yard at the rear of the property to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet, or make use of the gas BBQ. Very near to Bike park Wales and Pen y Fan

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. We can offer off road parking with the ease of bringing your furry friends. We are in the heart of the Clydach Gorge on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. There is a village pub open 6 days a week offering food Friday’s and Saturday’s. The market towns of Crickhowell and Abergavenny are close by. The national cycle network local to us is 46 and are are close to Bike Park Wales, Big Pit Blaenavon, and the Clydach Ironworks.

There are many local walks, just over the fence can take you in all sorts of directions over the mountains and hills surrounding Cwmtillery, or just take a stroll down to Cwmtillery Lake. 20 mins from the M4 corridor, this is a great bolthole for visiting the surrounding area, or just staying to visit family or friends. If you're looking for a clean, spacious and comfortable place to stay then you’ve found it! 15 minutes from bike park wales Less than half an hour from the start of Pen y Fan Beaufort is a relatively small and quiet village it has supermarkets and a few pubs but you made need to drive outside the village to find more restaurants and other amenities.
