Little J Cottage

Welcome to the “Little J Cottage” located just outside of Spruce Creek, Pa. Conveniently located between Altoona and State College minutes from I99. Nestled along the famous Little Juniata river this newly renovated house still holds its older country charm. The cottage has a semi private setting on a large country lot providing scenic views. You can hear the distant whistle of a passing train on the nearby tracks. Some of the finest fishing in Pa is mere steps away being just across the road.

Orchard Guesthouse

Private, cozy cottage - lots of extras. Stocked with carefully chosen non‑toxic body & laundry products, free from harsh chemicals & artificial fragrances. Enjoy small town life! Includes breakfast at a local favorite coffeehouse! Very close to the Rails to Trails trailhead that is loved by cycling and hiking enthusiasts. Kayaks on property for river use only. 45min. from Penn State, Beaver Stadium, and the Bryce Jordan Center. A short, but beautiful drive to Raystown Lake or Canoe Creek State Park. Close to the Altoona Curve baseball stadium as well as “Horseshoe Curve” and the railroaders museum. Drive to nearby shopping and restaurants.

Cottage in Warriors Mark

Our Cottage was originally the Barber shop here in Warriors Mark. It was eventually converted into an efficiency apartment. I completely renovated the Cottage over the summer of 2024. The space is very comfortable and inviting with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The space is perfect for a couple. The loveseat easily converts to a full size bed 51x72 inches. It is comfortable for one adult or 2 children. Close to fishing: Little Juniata, Spruce Creek, Raystown Lake.

"Lost Eden" Raystown Lake, mountain views, hot tub

Get "lost" to nature in this luxury house for two, located a 5 minute drive from Shy Beaver boat launch. Atop a meandering mountain road, this unique chalet has treetop views, a 30-foot-high living room, and a open bedroom with a king bed. Lots of natural light filters in from skylights and windows. A spiral staircase adjoins both decks. The lower level has a relaxing hot tub with a privacy wall and patio furniture. A cable railing incloses the deck for an unobstructed view of nature.

Little Stone Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Originally built as a carriage house in 1820 along with the adjoining stone home and a second stone building originally used as an out kitchen. This rustic cottage has been tastefully modernized and has a queen sized bed, full size refrigerator/freezer, gas range, large screen TV, heat pump that supplies air conditioning and heat, hot water shower and outside grille and fire pit.

We have extensively remodeled this special home and brought it forward from the 1960s while maintaining its character, including the original wrought iron railing and open vaulted living room. We've also incorporated some elements of Altoona's history into the home. It's the perfect cozy and welcoming space to rest and relax whether traveling for work, visiting family, or exploring the beautiful surrounding area.
