Romantic, rustic cabin at the base of a 35-foot waterfall, nestled in the middle of 16 secluded acres surrounded by national forest that extends to the Chattooga River. This magical get-away caters to those with an adventurous spirit. Hike from the cabin to additional waterfalls, bike down Turkey Ridge Road to Opossum Creek Trail and the Five Falls or drive two miles to the Chattooga Belle Farm. The Waterfall Cabin is a joy to us all, and we hope you love it as much as we do. No cleaning fee.

Just over an hour from the Atlanta, GA or Chattanooga, TN airport and 5 min to downtown Ellijay or 30 min from downtown Blue Ridge. Wineries 10-15 min away! Fishing, kayaking, tubing, hiking, zip lining, biking, wineries/ vineyards, orchards, shopping and dining await you or just relax on the porch and listen to the river!

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone.
