Relax with the family at this peaceful place. My summerhouse is located in Hvítársíða. Borgarfjörður. Surrounded by Hallmundar-lava from the 10th century and wild birch trees. The house has a south facing porch and a seating area and a grill. In front of the house there is a small river, depends on rain and snow.Inside I have a well equipped kitchen, living room with a dining area, two bedrooms and a sleeping area for two in the attic. Outside a sauna house with a shower. 4WD in wintertime.

Approached via a two kilometre private road - this is as secluded a place as you can find. You will cancel your plans and not want to leave the house. The landscape is magnificent as are the views in all directions. Two small lakes are home to a variety of birds including a pair of eagles who visit in late summer and throughout winter.

Mountain cottage with amazing view

Enjoy nature and amazing views in our beautiful cottage in the mountains of Borgarfjörður - 1 hour drive from Reykjavík. The cottage was built in 2013 - 2015 but has a classic and simple style. There is electric heating, a gas stove and outdoor cooking area. The cottage is close to Krauma geothermal bath and the town of Borgarnes where you can go to stores, museum and restaurants.

Grund er íbúðarhús sem var byggt árið 1929. Grund er mjög miðsvæðis og með mikla nálægð við náttúruna. Stutt í margar af helstu perlum Íslands og fallegar gönguleiðir. Aðeins 90 mínútu akstur frá Reykjavík. Við húsið er 80 fm sólhús með 100 fm palli fyrir utan og því tilvalið til að halda veislur og mannfagnaði. Leiksvæði í afgirtum garði.
