The home is located near Belgrave Township, close to the Puffing Billy railway and just a short drive from the gorgeous towns of Sassafras, Olinda, and Mt. Dandenong. A lovely English-style tavern with live music sits at the end of our quiet street. Killlik Rum distillery is also at the end of the street for food and cocktails. Parking out front on road (cul de sac) Bus stop on corner to access hills towns Belgrave station 10 minutes walk Steps up to the house. Two cats live on property (Buddy & Braveheart) but probably wont impact on guests unless they are cat lovers!

Our 1959-vintage caravan is just 12ft long, best for a couple or two friends. At a pinch, two children could sleep in the king single bed; see the photos and description further down. Wake up to the sounds of Lyrebirds, enjoy a private walk in our rainforest gully and stroll around the garden, one of the best private gardens in the Dandenongs. Offering a minimum one-night stay for a quick getaway, or stay longer & enjoy the peace, sit by the fire - made from a beer keg, and roast marshmallows.

This cosy self contained apartment is located just 5 minutes by car from the iconic 1000 stairs and just a 15 minute walk to ferntree gully train station. New listing with tv, heating and wifi. On street parking. Please note unfortunately we couldn't get more ceiling clearance when we renovated so if you are over 195cms tall this might not be the ideal place for you. Even without ceiling fans! Secure digital door lock with new code generated for each new guest for peace of mind.

Welcome to our Studio where you can relax in a cosy, stylish haven nestled amongst the trees & the birds. Ideally situated in Melbourne's leafy, outer eastern suburbs, this quiet location is a stone's throw from the Dandenong Ranges with the stunning Yarra Valley & Warrandyte regions just a short drive away. Easily accessible via major motorways, you will also find shops, public transport, schools & hospitals nearby. Please note that our studio is only suitable for adults.

Spacious garden apartment

Our spacious 2-bedroom, self-contained guest suite, located directly behind our house, is a "home away from home." You will have your own private entrance, with a path leading up the side of the house to your front sliding door. The off-street parking is very convenient, and you will find all the comforts you need for an enjoyable, relaxing stay in Knox. This guest suite, with blinds in every room, is in a quiet residential area and parties and gatherings are not permitted.

This cozy cottage offers breathtaking views of the Dandenong Ranges and the lush Yarra Valley. Featuring a luxurious king-sized bed and a private spa (can be adjusted to cool in summer and hot in winter), it's the perfect romantic getaway. Enjoy a glass of wine on the veranda while taking in the stunning scenery, or relax in the spa after a day of exploring the local attractions. With its charming decor, this cottage is the ultimate retreat for couples.

Forest Road Retreat

Nestled at the base of Mount Dandenong, this peaceful bungalow is the perfect place to stay whilst exploring the Dandenong Ranges or Yarra Valley. Walking distance (15mins) from Boronia or Ferntree gully and less than an hour drive from the CBD, this stay is close to all necessities while enjoying the tranquillity of the one acre garden with firepits or BBQ facilities to use. Pet and family friendly, the bungalow is a great place for two nights or many.

Detached 1 bedroom unit (queen bed) with en-suite bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen, seperate living and dining rooms. Tea & coffee supplied to get you started. Wifi, TV, DVDs & books. Easy 15 min walk to cafes, shopping centre and trains. Busses are at the end of street. Easy access to the Dandenong Ranges, Puffing Billy, Sherbrooke Forest and much more. The unit is in our back yard with a gate to access the native reserve with several walking tracks.

Dingleigh of Sassafras - Reader's Cottage

A forest hideaway in the Dandenong Ranges. Nestled between ferns and maples, Dingleigh of Sassafras is one of the original cottages on the property, lovingly restored and updated. Walking proximity to Sassafras, local shops, famous gardens & the national park. Dingleigh and its gardens offer an ideal location for wedding preparations and small wedding ceremonies. Photo shoots and video locations are also available upon request.

Stay in the heart of Olinda Village at the Old (heritage) Olinda Police Station. From the moment you step into the Cottage grounds you are surrounded by history and the sights and sounds of nature. All local attractions are only moments away. You can retreat to the cottage to enjoy the luxury accommodation and facilities, experience the local village or explore the great surroundings on your door step.
