Our goal is rest and renewal for our guests so they return home ready to serve others and encouraged to spend regular time in prayer and God's Word. Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. Even if you are here primarily for some other reason, we hope you'll take advantage of the quiet time and provided materials.

We are located on Middle Gresham Lake, this is a semi private lake, very quite lake with no public access. The fishing is great. Includes use of a row boat, canoe and two kayaks, boat motor available-extra charge. Rustic cabin feel with pristine views, a fire pit for roasting marsh mellows. Centrally located between Minocqua and Boulder Junction. Enjoy beautiful summer sun sets and amazing wild life. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and small families. Weekly rentals only mid June to mid August!

When you think Northern WI cabin stay, this is exactly what they should be. Small 700 square foot cabin sitting on the Moen Lake Chain just a few miles east of Rhinelander. Easy access via blacktop road that takes you right to the place. It offers 56 ft of water frontage. A small public boat landing right in front, makes it easy to get on and off the water. A new dock to tie it up for the evening on those summer stays, and drive out (at own risk) on the ice for those winter months.

We made great efforts to restore the character of our cottage by salvaging and refinishing much or the original woodwork, while modernizing some features for a comfortable experience!
