Simply Sailing-A Cottage In The Trees

Simply Sailing is a quaint one bedroom, one bath cottage that sleeps four, located at Barren River Lake. The home has everything you need for your stay. Basic cooking utensils, a charcoal grill, TV with DVD player with movies and board games are there for the perfect family vacation. We have recently added a smart TV to the bedroom. We do welcome "small" family pets ($75 non-refundable fee) "Free Wi-Fi" We also have a cabin next door that sleeps 4 for larger groups called, Fishy Business.

This home has a small footprint and fun feel. It was built in the 50’s, so let’s be honest, it’s NOT a new home and has its quirks that I call character. Hot Tub near Mammoth Cave NP

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Explore Mammoth Cave National Park, kayak the Green River or trek through Dinoworld then relax in the hot tub while the kids or the pup plays in the fenced in back yard. The fire pit is a perfect place for s’mores. Enjoy sharing a meal in the fully stocked kitchen or head down the street and pick up pizza and ice cream from the locally owned shops in Cave City. Nestled in the backwoods of Green County, KY. - this little patch of solitude sits on a gently rolling hillside overlooking the Green River. Relax while watching deer and turkey from the back porch, sit around the fire pit at night, cuddle up on the sofa in front of the fireplace or take a walk down to the river. This house has a fenced in back yard (that is not pretty due to a storm, but it works!) Our 2 AirBnB houses are directly across the street from each other! Check out our guide book! My husband and I live two miles down the street and are always readily available for questions, suggestions or if you need anything.

We have friendly animals like peacocks, goats, chickens, pigs, miniature donkeys and a free roaming friendly squirrel named Agnes. You r welcome to pick fresh eggs for ur breakfast.
