Raspberry Cottage has a 17th century Scandinavian log style with a newly renovated interior, library, free berry and orchard picking, and a hiking path on 150 acres. Proximity to puffin tours, fishing, golf, the Cabot Trail, the Nfld ferry, cultural experiences, and on the way to PEI. Wifi, tv, coffee beans, tea, charcoal and propane grills, and logs for an outdoor fire circle are included. 4 star rated by Canada Select. Welcome to “Point Beithe” (birch point in Gaelic). This beautiful home sits on its own point surrounded by 180° of Mira River waterfront age. You will also enjoy access to your own small private island that is connected by a shallow sand bar. Sit out on the large deck or floating dock to enjoy the views of the river, launch kayaks, paddle boards, and swim. We have signed up for the strongest internet service offered in the area (Starlink). Cellular reception is not great in the area.

You will enjoy amazing privacy and a beautiful space. Bucklaw is central to all of Cape Breton’s major attractions. To determine distances, just put Bucklaw, NS into Google Maps.

MacLeod Cove: secluded cottage with private shore

MacLeod Cove is a 4-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. We upgraded our wifi to high speed fiber in 2026. Simple but extremely comfortable our second home has all the amenities you will need for a relaxing getaway! Fully equipped kitchen with open-concept, cozy living room. Two double bedrooms and a full bathroom are on the second level. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening nightcap on the master bedroom balcony. A sunroom on the main floor completes this welcoming cottage.
