Cosy Log Cabin in Aith, Shetland

Relax and recharge with the family in the peaceful and picturesque village of Aith. This is our family holiday home, close to our family in the quiet and friendly village of Aith, Shetland. It is a great location as the village has a shop, Leisure Centre, Harbour and Marina, play park and is a 5 minute walk to the fantastic ‘Michael’s Wood’. This award winning woodland and trail was planted by family in memory of our cousin and so is a really special place for us which we hope you will enjoy.

Waddle Self Catering

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 250 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

Flat 2 Kiwi House

This modern cosy one bedroom flat is set in the heart of Lerwick within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the town centre. A completely renovated flat with all modern facilities. Great for couples, business travellers and tourists. The property has a spacious living room with smart 65” TV and WIFI. The kitchen is well equipped with all mod cons. There is a double bed in the bedroom with SIMBA mattress. There is also a washing machine and a tumble dryer available for guest to use.

Mayar Cottage - 2 bedroom home in central Lerwick

Mayar is located in the heart of Lerwick and is a stones throw from all the town’s restaurants, shops, cafes, bars, parks and walks. The property, which sits within the Lerwick Conservation Area has recently been extensively refurbished. This was completed in January 2021, with modern decor and appliances throughout. Mayar is the perfect spot from which to explore Lerwick without the need for transport. Or as a central base if you are looking to explore all that Shetland has to offer.

Located at the very heart of Shetland, with spectactular views & abundant nature, Orwick Lodge is a great base for exploring the Shetland Islands. Minutes from quiet rural beaches, the famous Hams o Roe, trying to spot an otter passing the window or waking up to Shalders on the patio, in 2018 Shetland had 2 pods of Orcas circumnavigating the islands. At evening you can enjoy the award winning Frankies fish & chips, enjoy complimentary mussels from our farm, or seek out Shetland music.

Two bedroom cottage in central Lerwick

Comfortable two bedroom cottage, situated in the centre of Lerwick. The cottage has recently been refurbished, and is decorated with a modern feel. Located on King Harald Street, the cottage is within walking distance of Lerwick town centre, near various cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops. Please be aware that there are two sets of steps to get up to the cottage (27 in total), so it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues, or prams/buggies.

A very central and fully refurbished apartment on the first floor, built in 1871 and tastefully modernised but still keeping its cosy atmosphere. Situated in the old part of Lerwick close to all town centre amenities, 300m to pubs, shops, restaurants etc. Private off road parking and secluded entrance. There is a shared garden that guests are welcome to use. Fully equipped with everything you need including wifi and Netflix for chill time.

Bright, modern and airy flat, right in the heart of Lerwick. Recently redecorated and refurbished, this flat is equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay. Big bay windows look out over the town's historic Hillhead - the perfect location for viewing the world-famous Up Helly Aa fire festival, as the spectacular torchlight evening procession starts from right outside, making this the ideal view point.

The main shopping street is only 1.6 mile from the property or the bus stop is only 250meters down the road from the property. There are beautiful beaches, many cafes & eateries, entertainments, museums and circular walks in Lerwick. Great central base for day trips into the countryside too.

Our 2 bedroomed house in the historic lanes of Lerwick is well situated to the idilic harbour, museum, eateries and much more. Supermarkets, leisure centre, community centre, playing parks are within 20 minutes walk. Our house is bright and spacious with a lovely patio area.
