South Texas Country Home Ideal anytime Retreat

Quiet, private and serene urban/country living located midway between San Antonio and New Braunfels on the edge of the Texas Hill Country and Edwards Plateau. The home is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath , fully stocked kitchen 1800sf guest house . Downtown SA activities or New Braunfels tubing activities are a modest 30 min ride. Nat Bridge Caverns and Wildlife Ranch is within a 3-5 min drive. Maximum 6 guests/2 vehicles without prior approval of hosts. No parties or events permitted without host approval.

Open shower with rain head and wand. Exposed rock walls, concrete floor. No chemicals used so critter sightings possible.

Beautiful and comfortable, this gorgeous getaway is in the heart of Texas hill country, one mile south of Guadalupe St Park and next to the beautiful Park 31 wedding venue. We are minutes from small towns and a big city that offers unique and multicultural experiences, shopping, dining, and recreation. Guadalupe River Park is easily accessible and offers water recreation, camping, and day hikes. As a working horse ranch, you will enjoy the close interactions with our animals!

Enjoy your stay watching deer, birds, sunsets, stars and relax. Casita on the Ranch is located on our 90 acre ranch near the main home with just a 2 minute walk to the gym. We are about 35 min to New Braunfels or SanAntonio and about 20 min to Canyon Lake and Blanco. We are close to the Guadalupe River, Guadalupe State Park, Natural Bridge Caverns, Schlitterbahn, Fiesta Texas and Fredericksburg is about 45 minutes away. Plenty of parking and a fenced back yard. 2 pets max.

This spot is a great place to relax and unplug from the busyness of life. Enjoy a stroll or hike alongside the creek, plop some chairs in the water and take in the sounds of nature. Kids enjoy exploring, wildlife and roasting marshmallows while snuggling up around a campfire. The experience is much like camping, not to be compared with a hotel.

Handley Chalet - Country Living in a Big City

The ‘Chalet’ is in the Timberwood Park area in north San Antonio - a great location for business travelers and vacationers alike. It has easy access to HW281 and Loop 1604, with Six Flags Fiesta Texas and the famous San Antonio Riverwalk just a short drive away. Great for getting away from it all and resting, or using as home base while exploring San Antonio and New Braunfels.
