The Hideaway

The Hideaway is an enchanting one room casita situated on the outer crest of the property, The Confluence. Wake up to the sunrise with a lush *View* of the natural countryside from your private deck. The Hideaway is accessed by a foot path (200ft) from the Main House. The Private Bathroom is off of the Main House (200ft walk from the room). From the parking area to the room, it is roughly 400ft. There is no kitchen or cooking appliances other than a hot water kettle and a mini-frig.

Beautiful cabin in the historic town of Strawberry, CA in Tuolumne County. Remodeled with modern finishes and features. 5 min walk to the river, 5 min drive to Pinecrest Lake & 15 min drive to Dodge Ridge Ski. 3 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom, 2 half bathrooms. Underbed storage in all bedrooms, Wi-Fi and streaming on the television; central AC (cooler), and Level 2 EV charger (See other details to note). Car parking area: 3 in Summer & 2 in Winter. CHAINS REQUIRED IN WINTER.

Arnold cozy cabin

Only one block off of Hwy 4, walking distance to stores and eateries. One bedroom with one double size bed and a large loft, (up the spiral staircase) with one double size bed. Sheets and Towels are provided. Nice deck for outside dining. Dog friendly! (The yard is not fenced). Note: A small air conditioner is in the living room. It is a cabin in the mountains so it will not be as toasty as home. NOTE: Verizon works, AT&T has little or no reception in this area.

Ideal for a weekend or week vacation in California's beautiful Sierras! The cabin is close to Pinecrest Lake, and Dodge Ridge. We use the cabin ourselves on a regular basis, so you will find it comfortable and well equipped. The cabin is surrounded by tall pine and redwood trees and we often have deer paying us a visit in our front yard. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. In 2026, we are moving out of the area and the cabin will go up for sale in the spring.
