A 10-minute drive from the centre of Derry, the Avish is a very spacious 18th-century farm cottage set in its own courtyard and grounds and lovingly restored. It's cosy, secluded and totally charming. Sleeps 4-6 very comfortably. Kitchen with programmable wood-pellet stove. Cassie's Cottage, built in the 1800's is newly refurbished and complete with all mod cons. The cottage is located only 5 mins walk from the lovely village of Malin, which has pubs and shops around a triangular green. Malin is on the Wild Atlantic Way and has the longest stone bridge in Ireland. From Malin it is 3 miles to Culdaff Beach and 8 miles to Malin Head, the most Northerly point in Ireland and used as a location for filming Star Wars Ep VIII. Donegal's Lapland is a 15 minutes drive.

It is set on 12 acres with a river running through it and a tumbling waterfall right by the cottage. Only 15 minutes drive to Donegal town, which has some really nice restaurants and bars. There is a castle to explore in the town and a wonderful craft village with a very good cafe. Ten minutes drive to Harveys Point and twelve minutes from Lough Eske castle, both reputable 5 * hotels.
