Our guest suite is fully self-contained with kitchenette, en suite bathroom, walk-in shower, spa and shared laundry. It is a new-build facility attached to the historic former Uniting Church in Spalding. The accommodation offers a relaxing overnight stay or respite for longer visits. Special features include the en suite spa bath, fully equipped kitchenette and laundry. We provide some food essentials: tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, milk, butter and condiments, however meals are not included.

You’ll love my place because of the peaceful surroundings, proximity to the town, the fresh air, the starlit sky, the views, the cosy fireplace, AC in bedrooms +wineries, the generous breakfast provisions and the fabulous bottle of complimentary O'Dwyer Wine. My place is good for couples, adventurers, business travellers, families and groups.

The original creation of resident artist Andrew Quixley, this studio features a one of a kind design with extensive use of interesting, recycled materials, creating a warm, inviting and inspiring space to relax during your visit. Your package is inclusive of local continental breakfast by Watervale General Store, sustainable amenities by Kevin.Murphy, SA tea and coffee by Sideroads and T Bar, linen and luxury Sheridan towelling.

Stables by the Vines

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.
