Du'SwaRoo Cottage

The cottage is situated on the Du’SwaRoo Wine and Olive Farm approximately 2 km outside Calitzdorp. It is directly next to the Du’SwaRoo wine cellar. It is ideally suited for a family and comprises of a bedroom with a double bed and ensuite bathroom, two bedrooms with two single beds each, an extra bathroom with shower and toilet, a lounge and dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The veranda is private with a beautiful view over the valley. Free wi-fi is available. Small pets are welcome.

A converted Pig -sty , now our ‘ Studio’ . This adobe-styled space takes its inspiration from Georgia o’Keefe’s Studio in New Mexico USA. The harsh Karoo landscape , complete with our very own ‘Towerkop’ ( Magic mountain) sentinel that looks over us. This simple open-plan space with its’ large windows and doors - lets the outside in. Views inspire creativity, calm and peace - go for walks through our olive groves and abundant ‘veld’ , watch the birds or the stars - just ‘Be’ and rest.

Hangman's Lookout

Escape and relax in this tranquil hidden gem in the Klein Karoo. Down the gravel road, past the Homestead, across the paddock over the bridge, ascending the hill and up the stairs to reach your private sanctuary in the mountains. The total cost per night for your stay is R950. Wifi available. This hideaway is perfect for cyclists and mountain bikers. A sense of adventure and humour would be beneficial as you will be staying on a farm in the Klein Karoo
