Make your retreat in our spacious self-contained cottage nestled in the heart of the forest. Unwind in the quiet and welcoming environment, take in the expansive views from the panoramic decking. Explore the local National Parks, lookouts and numerous walking trails nearby; perfect for family adventures or a private quiet getaway. Be entertained and enjoy the myriad of farm life or cosy in by the indoor wood fire. There's many novel experiences to keep kids occupied for a memorable and fun stay.

Relax & unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway set on a rural block. Fully air-conditioned for year round comfort & plenty of verandah space to sit & watch the sunset. Please note our no pet policy before booking. We have enjoyed re-purposing furniture to create our comfortable, quirky cottage. You will find many retro curios alongside modern home comforts. Walking distance into Gladstone (1.2km) if you need any groceries. A great base to kick off your Southern Flinders adventure.

Cabin with Deck

- One bedroom cabins located at a working organic vineyard within a few minutes of Jamestown. - Stroll through the vineyard and observe our organic weed control (sheep) in action. - Wander up the hill to see the Trees for Life Australian native plantation and olive grove. While you're there, enjoy the scenic views towards Jamestown and the Hornsdale Wind Farm. - Down near the cabins, you can have a look at the historic farm equipment and wander through the organic vegetable garden.

Stables by the Vines

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.

There are electric blankets & ducted reverse-cycle air conditioners throughout the home plus front & back outdoor entertaining decks & gas BBQ, kayaks, crab rakes & fire pit.

We are in the Southern Flinders Ranges with National Parks within easy reach. Pt. Germein is an historic Port town with 1.3 km wooden jetty, perfect for fishing and crabbing. The cottage is located in the grounds of St Clement's Anglican Church circa 1863 now a private residence. Only 23 kms from major rural city of Pt. Pirie. Cottage is self contained and would be described as bright and fresh set in an Australian native garden with undercover car parking.

Clare to Spalding character escape

A fully self-contained studio with kitchenette, en suite bathroom, walk-in shower, spa and shared laundry. This new-build facility is attached to the historic former Uniting Church in Spalding. Enjoy a relaxing overnight stay or respite for longer visits with the en suite spa bath, fully equipped kitchenette and shared laundry. Some food essentials: tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, milk, butter and condiments are provided, however meals are not included.

Alex's house is located in the South Australian town of Laura in the southern Flinders Ranges. Built in the early 1900's, this gracious comfortable house has a relaxed feel with generous rooms, high ceilings and modern amenities. It is filled with books, art, trashy novels, board games and spaces to play them or watch tv and lounge in front of the fire with a glass of local wine.

Beautiful and quaint, 2 bedroom cottage located 15kms from Melrose along the picturesque Survey Road. 17kms to Wirrabara and 300m from the eastern end of the popular Bridle Track. Situated on a working sheep and cattle farm, near a seasonal creek, private and peaceful with its own secret garden. Come and relax and listen to the birds sing.
