Karoo House Collection - 111 Cradock

Our listed heritage cottage makes for a luxurious self-catering Karoo escape and is conveniently situated in the heart of the “horseshoe” area of Graaff-Reinet. It is fully air conditioned for those sweltering Karoo days and features a back patio which is a perfect place for a quiet and cosy barbeque. Although an ideal "lock and go" for a group of 4, if you're needing space for more family and friends, you have the option to book our neighbouring property, 54 Middle Street, which also sleeps 4.

This unique house has recently been renovated and now boasts 3 en suite rooms. With beautiful wooden floors throughout the house it is very cosy. There is air conditioning in every room which is essential in the Graaff-Reinet summer. We also have hot blankets on the beds to make you comfortable during the cold winters. There are re charable lights throughout the house to beat loadshedding blues. We use a self checck in. Bring the whole family to this beautiful home with lots of room for fun!

This rustic and romantic cottage is situated adjacent to Die Waenhuis restaurant, in the heart of Nieu-Bethesda. Surrounded by beautiful views, guests can access a variety of walks, Restaurants, shops and the Owl House from here. Our cottage boasts a typical Karoo style open-plan kitchen, Dover stove, living room, en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, main bedroom with double bed, spare room with two single beds. Entertainment patio overlooking the courtyard and garden.

Little Aloe Cottage

Stylish, peaceful, spacious, secure. Added benefit, dependent on avaialbility of host's husband, who is an active amateur astronomer, join him for a night out under the stars at the Telescope. Guest Review The cottage itself was lovely and well-equipped, with all the comforts of home. One of the highlights was the stargazing experience with the unique telescope – it was truly awesome! Playwright's House, Nieu-Bethesda

This unpretentious, rustic and secluded Karoo home is where internationally acclaimed playwright and writer Athol Fugard wrote between 1990 and 2017. It's on the peaceful northeastern corner of our quaint village. Crystal-clear Karoo air, intense night skies, crackling winter fires, tranquillity. Charming Heritage Cottage

This historic townhouse is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The private courtyard is ideal for a braai (barbecue), or a quiet coffee. The house is child-friendly, and pets are welcome too. A gun-safe is provided, ideal for hunters. The stove is gas, so cooking during load-shedding is never a problem! As with many Graaff-Reinet houses, there is ONLY ON-STREET PARKING. There is also no TV.

Perfect unit for a quick stop-over to rest and recharge after a long drive. Equipped with a private patio/braai, kitchenette and ensuite, this is the perfect unit for 2 people on the road that needs a stop-over. Convenient self-check in so you can come and go as you please.

Daisy Cottage

The lovely cottage has 3 rooms with queen or king-size or double bed and share a shower-only or full bathroom. The kitchen has a dishwasher, while the dining area has a cosy fireplace. A TV with a DVD player is available and the lounge opens onto a patio.

The Loft House

The Loft House is a converted former barn with a king/twin bedroom upstairs accessed via a wooden staircase, en suite bathroom and views over the private garden. Ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen and sitting room with French doors to the garden.
