This quiet ground-floor garden suite has its own private entrance (we live upstairs) and feels tucked away among trees, yet close to everything. NOTE: this is a basement walk-out apartment underneath our family’s living space. While we have gone to extensive lengths to eliminate sound transfer, you may still hear footsteps above (especially 7-9 am and 5-7 pm).

There's room for everyone in this well appointed home! Master has a king bed, guest room 1 has a bunk bed with a twin over full, guest room 2 has a full/queen, and the secluded family room has a full sized pull out sofa bed. There is a lovely patio with a nice view of Candy Mountain. The kitchen and adjoining BBQ patio are a convenient space to relax and prepare a nice meal.

The Desert Hideaway is a private, detached guesthouse tucked into a quiet neighborhood. You’re just five minutes from shopping in two directions and six minutes from the Columbia River at Howard Amon Park. The Tri-Cities are known for their excellent food trucks, and Richland’s scenic riverfront path is perfect for walking or biking. The backyard is shared with the hosts.
