This cabin is rustic and small but super cozy! It's comfortable with a queen size bed, a wood burning stove, air conditioning, fridge freezer, coffee, creamer & sugar provided, a smart tv & more. The creek runs in front of it and is literally up against a mountain, surround by mountains. This cabin is located right beside the shower house. There are beautiful hiking trails, a coal mine is a short hike away and a secret wilderness chapel. Enjoy some simple time up & away from town life.

Summers offer close access to outdoor adventures like fishing, hiking, rafting, biking and so much more. Winters are peaceful and cozy in the cabin surrounded by snowy mountains. There is ample parking for larger groups. We do have Wi-Fi and decent cell coverage!

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape at Molly Moocher, a tiny house nestled among boulders in Wild and Wonderful West Virginia. 7 minutes from the Gauley River and Summersville lake. 19 minutes to the New River National Park. Located on 100 private acres with hiking trails. Relax in the hot tub or at the boulder-top fire pit. My wife and I live locally. Note: We do not have the ability to charge Electric Vehicles, and there is no reliable EV charging station nearby. Please do not bring EVs on your trip!

The Gauley River Treehouse

Enjoy your time in the trees! Hear the white water rapids of the Gauley from our front deck as you take in the scenic views of the forest. Truly, a one of a kind experience. Our treehouse is located in Boulder Trail, which is on over 100 acres of private land. It also includes a common area with a covered shelter, with an outdoor Fireplace that’s a short walk away. We are located 5 minutes from Summersville Lake and 15 minutes from New River Gorge National Park!
