Shopping in Takoradi within 30 minutes drive or 15 minutes (basics) by foot. Getting there and away can be arranged by Francis. Butre ist ein kleines Fischerdorf an einer waldgeschützten Bucht zwischen den Gemeinden Busua und Asemkow gelegen, ca. 20 km südwestlich von Takoradi, mit fast 400 Einwohnern der Ahanta Ethnie. Hoch über dem Dorf gibt die Ruine des Forts Batenstein Zeugnis von dem Beginn der Kolonialgeschichte im 17.Jahrh. Die Unterkunft ist ein kleines Apartment in dem früheren 'Boy's Cottage', das zu dem großen Haupthaus mit weitem Außengelände und Garten direkt am Meeresstrand gehört.

This is ideal for a group looking to camp close to nature. Remote so users should come prepared. Will need to bring own camp accoutrements and mosquito repellents. Guests can work for free on the rubber plantation if they wish to experience farm /plantation work or not. Guest can hike etc.
