A short intermediate trail besides the cabin will take you down to the beach. The 560 square foot cabin is set back on the property, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Juan de Fuca Straight and the Olympia Mountains. Cozy up by the wood fire in this cozy cabin or have a bath in outdoor bathtub and enjoy the breathtaking views!

Our renovated (in June 2023) suite is at the end of a no-through road and is only a 5-10 minute walk into the village to a fabulous, organic craft bakery, artisan shops, restaurants, a museum, a pub, a small grocery/liquor store and a popular ice cream/candy store. (Seasonal) kayak/paddle-board rentals & whale watching excursions for hire. Cowichan District Hospital 15 min drive.

The kitchen will be stocked with the following food items (guests must prepare the food): - Two (2) organic eggs per guest - Two (2) pc whole wheat bread per guest - Juice/Tea/Coffee/Milk/Creamer - Jam & Peanut Butter - Oatmeal - Miscellaneous Pantry items (popcorn/soup/etc.) Walking distance to Sidney (1.5km to town/1 km to the oceanfront) and the Victoria International Airport (2.2km) NOTE: Persons with mobility concerns may have a difficult time getting in and out of the primary bed.

We are a 5 minute drive from West Shawnigan Lake Park (lake access) and an 8 minute drive from Masons Beach / Shawnigan village, and a 50 minute drive from Victoria.

Looking for a convenient and stylish location? Steps away from the ocean, a short walk to Brentwood Bay Resort & Spa, Portside Marina, and Brentwood-Mill Bay ferry, including several beach accesses. 5-minute drive to the Butchart Gardens, Victoria Butterfly Gardens, 13 km to Sidney, 20 km to Victoria, 18 km to Swartz Bay ferry terminal, and about 10 km to get to the airport.
