Our cottage is located within the gates of Samsons Whitetail Mountain. Nestled near the Shawnee National Forest, allows for the best hiking, biking, and rock climbing locations. Plan a trip to Garden of the Gods or Jackson Falls or Tunnel Hill Trail and spend the evening roasting hotdogs around the fire ring while watching the many animals on the property. The cottage is on a horse farm with a large yard to play in and enjoy the stars at night around a campfire

With 4 bedrooms and 2 pullout couches, this property is perfect for a family get together or a group of friends wanting a quiet vacation! There is another vacation rental on this property and the driveway is shared with it.

We have recently added a Finnish Sauna and Japanese Ofuro Soaking Tub. We accept well behaved dogs for a fee of $35 a night. We allow only guests and friends of the Pool House on the grounds, gardens or pool. Hosts are Jane, anthropologist and D. a retired photojournalist for the New York Times.
