Esta propiedad fue el primer hogar de mis abuelos, Licho Mena y Rufina Venegas. Hoy, como su segundo nieto, he remodelado este espacio para honrar su esfuerzo y compartir con ustedes el legado Mena Venegas y darle mi toque personal. Al hospedarte aquí, no solo disfrutas de una estancia cómoda, sino que te haces parte de una historia que ha pasado por tres generaciones, mi deseo es conservar mis recuerdos de infancia, compartirlos con mis hijos y con viajeros que aprecian los lugares con alma.

Cabaña de madera, totalmente amueblada, lista para estrenar. Nuestra cabaña está ubicada a 300 metros del centro de Hojancha donde se pueden encontrar todo tipo de servicios. A 35km se encuentra playa Carrillo, y a menos de 50km Punta Islita, el refugio de Vida Silvestre Camaronal, Playa Corozalito y Samara. Hojancha posee la catarata más alta de Centroamérica con 350 metros de altura, catarata Salto del Calvo se ubica a 14 km de la cabaña. La Zona es ideal para practicar senderismo y running.

The house is nestled on a private farm next to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. It is located on top of the mountain with spectacular views of the Gulf of Nicoya and the best place to watch sunsets when the weather allows. It is a one bedroom non luxury house that was built by one of the first Quaker settlers in the Monteverde area. It is fully equipped with a kitchen, washing machine and dryer for the best comfort. We are in the cloud forest, be ready for weather changes and bugs.
