The Hideaway on Mitchellii Lane

A completely furnished apartment in the basement of our log home (we live on main floor) on 5 acres of woods above beautiful Shavehead Lake. Entrance into the apartment through a screened in porch and double French doors provides privacy and space to relax and enjoy the beautiful outdoor landscape. A large egress window allows natural sunlight into the bedroom on the opposite side of the wall from the kitchen/dining room/living room. High speed internet & YouTubeTV provide entertainment options.

The Empty Nest

The Empty Nest is awaiting guests who need some R&R, are in town for an event, or just need a change of scenery. We are 35 minutes from Notre Dame, 45 minutes to Warren Dunes, 15 minutes from IN State Line, and 20 minutes from Swiss Valley Ski Resort. The house is in close proximity to many all sport lakes, fishing lakes, snowmobile trails, public beach, and small town shops & restaurants. There are a few county parks near and a Casino within 15 minutes driving distance for extra entertainment!

Whether your wanting a quite weekend retreat or a family get together this cottage meets your needs. Come for a relaxing getaway in the country. Cook in our small kitchenette or use our Blackstone or fire pit. Located in a small hobby farm setting with sheep roaming the pasture. We also have a couple cats that claim the pool area as their own. The long driveway and gravel road are perfect for a leisurely stroll to enjoy the great outdoors. Take a swim in the pool or a soak in the hot tub and let the worries of life melt away during your stay.

Located directly on Diamond Lake, this 3BR/2BA home has a fenced yard, 70' pier, and beds for 9. Located on the west side of the lake with a bluff behind it leaves the water calm even on a windy day. Great Room has 14' redwood plank cathedral ceiling; fireplace at one end, kitchen at the other. Hardwood flooring throughout. Sunporch (with new sofa and Loveseat) faces the lake, with wrap-around deck beyond that. New Split/Mini ac/heat system.
