The house is located at the western end, where the last isthmus of land divides the Tyrrhenian Sea from the Mediterranean. You can reach every part of the city center on foot. Restaurants, churches, squares, markets, port, and ferries/hydrofoils to the Egadi Islands will be just few minutes away. We can also recommend a useful bike rental-shop located in the city center. The city beach is located along the northern coastline. You will have roughly four kms of sandy beach coast to chose your favorite spot. You can use car, bicycle, or you can just walk to reach it. 'U Fùnnacu 1887

‘U Fùnnacu 1887, è un trilocale al primo piano di un antico casale di campagna del 1820. Un tempo era un fondaco, in siciliano “fùnnacu”, dall’arabo funduq (alloggio, riparo per i carrettieri), a sua volta derivante dal greco pàndokos: luogo che accoglie tutti. In effetti, questa era la funzione del fùnnacu: accogliere i viandanti, uomini, animali, carretti coi relativi carichi, che vi trovavano ristoro e riparo.
