Built in 1600, this old water mill was fully restored four years ago, maintaining its rustic charm. It is surrounded by nature and offers the ideal break from the hassles of city life, be it with friends, family or just by yourself. Latest internet tech makes it a perfect working 'staycation'. It boasts a shaded 'al fresco' area at the rear, a sun drenched garden in the front, and is set in a small hamlet with ancient cobbled traffic-less roads. Throughout the summer, Barga comes alive with many typical food fairs, music festivals and art exhibitions. The house is set within olive groves, fruit trees, and forests, with stunning views all around. The garden is perfect for dining 'al fresco' and enjoy the view and sound of the bells of its majestic cathedral. Barga is only 40 mins from Lucca, 50 from Pisa and 90 from Florence. Please note there is a 1€ tourist tax per person for the first 3 nights to be paid cash upon arrival.

“La dimora del Codirosso” is my historic family home in which I rent a part to those who travel or seek rest, rediscovering the atmosphere of the past. The house is hidden in a small medieval village in the Norther Tuscany, Brucciano, among the tranquility of the woods and mountains of Garfagnana's area. On request I’ll be happy to prepare for you a delicious Italian breakfast or other meals but, remember, these service are not included in the price.

There is a 4000 mq garden with a swimming pool. A perfect place to relax but also to do numerous activities such as trekking, canyoning and MTB.
