The Carriage House

Find the perfect getaway in this charming 1916 carriage house near the heart of downtown Ladysmith. Built on the spacious grounds of the historic Smith mansion, it boasts a full kitchen, spacious living room with a queen hideabed, queen bed in bedroom, and three season porch looking out to the private back yard, fire pit and woods beyond. The Memorial Park, just across the street, includes sandy beach, fishing dock, boat launch, basketball, pickleball and tennis courts, and snowmobile trail.

The cottage is located on Wilson Lake, part of Phillips Chain of Lakes. There is a small beach area with a wonderful fire pit with free fire wood, picnic bench and swim raft located on the property. We offer use of our Canoes, Kayaks and a paddle board free of charge to all guests.

This is a cabin-in-the-woods experience! The Seeley Oaks A-Frame is our slice of the peaceful Northwoods experience. It's on 40 private, tranquil acres (no neighbors!) with great access to all the Hayward-Cable area has to offer. At 700sq ft, it's intended for two adults, with the option of 2 addtl kids. Shallow river is home to bass, crawfish, frogs, & turtles w/eagle sightings! Cabin is a loft design with a queen bed, & two twins (not a lot of privacy). Close to ATV trails with Country store & bar/food about 1 mile. Near Lake Holcombe, & surrounding areas. $50 pet fee for one pet, add to reservation. The Eagle's nest is an adjacent unit (sleeps 6).
