Welcome to our mountain getaway cottage! Barberry Cottage is located in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills. It is located only 32 mins/22 miles from Kings Canyon National Park where you can enjoy walking among the majestic giant sequoias of General Grant Grove, relaxing at Hume Lake, or adventuring in Boyden Cavern. The cottage is also a perfect location for a peaceful getaway where you can spend time simply relaxing amidst classic California scenery: oaks, pines, and the ever-changing skies.

Our solar-powered guest cottage is an architect-designed tiny home for 2, in a peaceful rural area. It is just 28 minutes from beautiful Kings Canyon National Park. There is a view of meadows and guests are welcome to stroll the half-mile around the property and view the sheep, dogs and horses. Birdlife is abundant and nearby is Cat Haven ( featuring lions, snow leopards etc.). Yosemite is within reach for a day trip . Great coffee 2 minutes away! Sorry, no assistance animals (see house rules)

Our family cabin is located in the small historic town of Raymond in the heart of the Sierra foothills, 39.2 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. The newly built cabin features modern conveniences with a rustic feel.  Experience breathtaking views, beautiful sunsets, hiking, a seasonal creek, an abundance of wildlife, and incredible rock formations to explore.  Up to 2 horses are welcome in our 2 corrals. Sip your coffee on the balcony of your private suite and relax in the peaceful energy of the pond, pastureland, the mountains, and the sunset. We have plenty of hiking, biking and riding trails in the hills of our ranch. We also have a 2 other rental units available (Cottage & Ranch House) for friends/family.

Our property includes the farmhouse, the main house (where the owners live), a barn and a beautiful one acre pond located just a short walk down the dirt road from the farmhouse. Enjoy anniversaries, friend trips and family time away from the city. If you decide to leave the tranquility of our pond, you can visit Lake Kaweah, Three Rivers, Sequoia or Kings Canyon National Park.

Our 2 bedroom guest house in beautiful Carmel Valley is close to Monterey, Big Sur, Pebble Beach and Carmel by the Sea. Sight see all day and escape to a pastoral setting five minutes from Carmel Valley Village with quaint shops, restaurants and over 20 wine tasting rooms. Visit with our alpacas, horses, giant tortoises, goats, sheep, donkey and more! Wake up to sunshine, fresh air and the donkey braying for breakfast! (Due to the nature of our farm we have a strict "No Pets" policy).
