This beautiful craftsman style house is over 110 years old and still has all the original woodwork making it cozy and inviting. The perfect mix of old and new in the Great House of Galesburg built in 1857 by Silas Willard who helped bring the railroad and higher education to Galesburg. There are four bedrooms each with a full bath and their own unique style. Historic Poehlman House - 1st floor bedroom

The Historic Poehlman house was finished in 1898 by Conrad Poehlman. Hand crafted into the hillside directly across from Abraham Lincoln’s tomb and rolling hills of the beautiful Oakridge Cemetery. Mr. Poehlman raised 7 boys and 3 girls in the 3 story brick home. Standing tall and modest at the very end of the street of a very quiet neighborhood. The rooms are spacious but cozy enough to make you feel right at home.
