Numbi Valley, a magical Permaculture Farm

Numbi Valley is a wonderful example of off-grid sustainable living. There is one private guest cottage on the farm and Kath and Ross welcome you to enjoy their uniquely created space. There are abundant organic gardens, a spring fed fresh water plunge pool with amazing views, all in a very beautiful and peaceful valley in the klein karoo countryside. There are scenic walks, cycling routes, fresh produce , excellent massage, delicious pizza, stargazing and wi-fi. We would love to have you stay!

Kerneelia Farm Cottage, at Doornkraal

Luxury meets Karoo hospitality at Kerneelia, a quaint and secluded cottage with a wonderful mountain view on our Klein Karoo farm near De Rust. This romantic cottage is located on Doornkraal, a farm that has been in the loving hands of five generations of our Le Roux family. Come take in the fresh air and explore our farm on foot or bicycle. We also offer horseback riding, a great way to see the area and get to know our beloved horses. Included in rate: A bottle of wine, some fire wood.

Karoo Koppie Cottage

Koppie Cottage is our special "off-the-grid" Getaway. Access to the cottage is preferable with a 4x4 or Bakkie and goes through our Olive groves and across the River. The cottage is a tranquil haven , surrounded by Karoo veld and overlooked by the majestic Swartberg mountains. Windmill, limited solar power and gas supply the necessary utilities and peace and quiet are the order of the day. Drag yourself off the stoep, and walk up onto the Koppie behind, into the ancient Karoo veld.

Vogelsang’s Farm Cottage - Self Catering

This private open-plan self catering farm cottage offers old-world charm with a stylish, minimalist touch. Designed for eco-conscious living, it runs on minimal electricity and features a fridge-freezer, water cooler, gas stove, and gas geyser. While there’s no TV, WiFi, or strong network coverage, it’s the perfect place to unwind and disconnect. With luxury linen and cozy details throughout, the cottage offers a peaceful, comfortable escape—your ideal home away from home on the farm.

Farmstay Self-catering Cottage Karoo La Villetta

Enjoy a peaceful stay at our karoo farmstay cottage, 30km's outside Beaufort West. Expect a serene & spacious space with gorgeous views of the karoo landscape with wildlife & livestock roaming around the cottage. The cottage can accommodate up to six guests with cozy and sunny bedrooms. There is a BBQ area at the front of the cottage & a fire pit at the back to enjoy a braai while watching the karoo stars. This is the perfect place for relaxing and to unwind.

Bobbejaankrans, Touwsberg Game and Nature Reserve

Long weekend escape for nature lovers on a Game and Nature Reserved, surrounded by untouched beauty and wild animals. Completely off the grid, powered by solar and gas. Our house is easily accessible from Route62. The facilities are excellent. The house is privately located, and offers an indoor fireplace, braai facilities, a plunge pool and a stoep for bird viewing. It sleeps four, ideally two adults with young children or for a romantic get-away for two.

The Olive Thrush Cottage

The Olive Thrush Cottage is on a small-holding at the edge of town and offering views of a freshwater dam with lots of bird life. The Cottage is peaceful and tranquil, a few minutes’ walk from the beautiful Karoo countryside, yet only a 10-minute walk from the shops and restaurants in Prince Albert. Prince Albert is the prettiest of all Karoo towns. Prince Albert is nestled at the foot of the majestic Swartberg Mountains, at the very edge of the Great Karoo.
