Casa Milorca Cottage Suite

The Karoo-style Cottage Suite sleeps two and is tucked away in the pretty gardens behind the main house at Casa Milorca, which was built in 1860 and is situated in one of Prince Albert's prettiest streets in the historic heart of the town. The cottage has a king-size bed with quality white bed linen, and there is an en suite bathroom with shower, as well as a compact lounge and dining area. The kitchenette area has washing up facilities, a toaster, kettle, microwave and bar fridge, and basic kitchen utensils. There is also a tea and coffee station with home-baked rusks. The Cottage Suite, which has its own private verandah, can also be configured with two single beds instead of a king-size bed. Thanks to air-conditioning the cottage is cool in summer and warm in winter; there is also has a standing fan if that is preferred.

Karoo Koppie Cottage

Koppie Cottage is our special "off-the-grid" Getaway. Access to the cottage is preferable with a 4x4 or Bakkie and goes through our Olive groves and across the River. The cottage is a tranquil haven , surrounded by Karoo veld and overlooked by the majestic Swartberg mountains. Windmill, limited solar power and gas supply the necessary utilities and peace and quiet are the order of the day. Drag yourself off the stoep, and walk up onto the Koppie behind, into the ancient Karoo veld.

Altyd lekker offers convenient self-catering accommodation in an open-plan cottage in Beaufort West, the oldest and largest town in the great Karoo. This open-plan cottage sleeping area have space for 5 guests and consists of 2x double beds and single bed, a bathroom with shower, dining room table and come with a fridge, microwave, two plate stove, kettle and toaster.
