The Sinclair Suite

This 1 bedroom/1 bath private home was originally a historic Sinclair gas station. Renovated in 2023, we’ve kept as much of the original building’s elements as possible while restoring it to create both a unique and relaxing experience. The bay area has been converted into a living/sleeping space that includes a TV & seating area as well as two queen-sized beds and a sleeper sofa. The former office space now features a full kitchen. A back patio, firepit, washer & dryer are all located on site.

Take a drive through the beautiful Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge, visit one the unique shops or restaurants right here in town or take a dip in Bath lake, which is right outside your front door. Nestled at the foothills of the Wichita Mountains, the Take a Hike Cabin at The Lazy Buffalo portrays the captivating landscape that awaits you in the Wichita Mountains where you can find 59,000 acres of mixed prairie grass, ancient mountains, lakes, streams, and miles upon miles of trails waiting to be discovered. The Lazy Buffalo has 13 themed cabins. The spacious Take a Hike Cabin is handicap accessible, sleeps 2 guests, and offers a king size bed and bathroom with a roll in tiled shower.

The Cardinal Birdhouse Cottage provides a barrier free entry with an elevated water-view deck. So close to shops and restaurants but restful and convenient with a Nectar mattress, wireless internet, large television, coffee maker, microwave, small fridge and many other amenities. This suite is ADA friendly with an oversized shower and close designated parking. The Cardinal shares a deck with the Bluebird and does NOT have a round window.

The separate drive and front entrance, leading all the way to the backyard, mimics a shotgun style house. Its charm and unique history will make your stay one to remember.

Leave your troubles at the gate when you enter this property. My desire is that whatever brings you here you find comfort and peace. If you are coming in from the city and just need to hear silence for a day or two, working in town but want your own space, bringing a family together for vacation/holidays or a couple that just needs a weekend away to reconnect. *It does have a 4 mile stretch of dirt road.

Rustic Red River Retreat

Rustic cabin retreat on the Red River. This cabin sits on 245 acres with direct Red River frontage. A two bedroom with a Jack & Jill bathroom. Maximum sleeping capacity of 6, but if someone wants to sleep on the couch you can fit 7. Full kitchen with a washer & dryer. Our cabin is fully air conditioned and the kitchen is complete with coffee & condiments.

Perfect for 2 but can accommodate 4 in a pinch. Washer & Dryer in unit. Pets welcome, maximum 2 and there is a $100 pet fee per stay. No smoking inside unit.
