Sunrise Cottage

Gateway Cottages are clean, safe, affordable, basic and environmental friendly accommodation situated on the Gateway Transformation Campus, Chirombo village, Monkey Bay, Malawi. Follow the M10 from Mangochi to Cape MacClear, and turn right at the turn-off the Cape MacClear at the Engergen Filling station on your left. Turn right on the gravel road into the village towards the Lake. Find our sign board 2 km from the turn off on the left, Gateway Transformation Center/Guesthouse.

The Cabana

This self-catering space is located on the lake front. With a comfortable double bed and bunk bed, this is a perfect family spot! Enjoy sunset from your private patio. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas stove, microwave and small fridge. The en-suite bathroom has a hot shower. Located directly across from the well-stocked local grocery store 'Stop and Shop'. Night watchman and secure parking on the premises. Laundry facilities available at an additional charge.

Namaso #Madikwe

We are located between Mangochi and Monkeybay giving us the Vantage point in a small but very rich with scenic view. We have modern Family friendly apartments with a swimming pool, our Beach is very Calm and very clean overlooking the lake Malawi game reserve. This apartment is self catering. The premises Has three Properties, This property is right behind the main Property facing the Lake. This property has access to a shared swimming pool and Beach front.

Kalibu Cottage

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. fall into holiday mode with an on site cook, a garden assistant and security guard. Air-conditioned rooms and an in ground pool to keep the heat beat throughout the day and night, will have you wanting to spend your whole vacation in this little happy place. Salphar cottage, a 4 bedroomed lakeside cottage

A beachside family cottage located in Monkeybay along the shores of the beautiful Lake malawi. It is perfect for a long and snd short-staffed private getaway holiday . It is less than a kilometer from the main road . The beachside cottage has a swimming pool, full air-conditioning , DSTV , a volleyball Court and in a few weeks the beachside bar will be fully functional . It is self cartering but a chef and a cleaner are available to help you .

Joe’s Annex Cottage

Joe’s Annex Cottage is cosy house with spacious rooms, a beautiful garden with camping space. There’s also a beautiful outside sitting area for those hot days with lots of local games available and a BBQ stand of course for the daily fresh catch of the famous tiger fish Kampanje. It is located on the village street of Cape Maclear, 20m from the lake with a private beach. Closer by is Kayak Africa and amenities just outside the compound.

Balamanja Retreat

Situated in beautiful gardens with direct lake access and wonderful views, secure large garden, swimming pool and outside barbecue area. A perfect place to get back to nature, relax and unwind. Wellness treatments, massage, Reiki and reflexology available on site Birdwatching boating, and Fishing trips also available.

Sungeni Cottage @ Lake Malawi

A lovely beachfront home with wonderful sunset views, set amongst a vibrant fishing community. The cottage has a lush garden with mature local trees with a baby-friendly swimming pool. There are 2 cool grass-thatched sitting areas set on the beach for cool sundowners.
