Mountain cottage overlooking the sea

On the lushly green Mount Pelion, in an authentic village, our house combines access to the sea (10 km) and ski resort area (7 kms). It can serve as a base for walking or driving to the many pictureque villages and beaches of this mountain. The house includes a garden with shady trees, also cherries and apricots in their season, and is only two minutes away from a mini market, restaurant, pharmacie and the wonderful square. Fully equipped and provided with maps and books about the region.

Portokaliá Cottage House is located in our Valaí Organic Farm in Kala Nera, Pelion. Our home is situated 400 m from the beach in Kala Nera, where you will find cafes, restaurants and beach bars. Kala Nera is also a great starting point for outdoor activities such as hiking, horse riding, swimming in the crystal clear waters of the beaches of Pelion and skiing between January and March. This would be an ideal holiday home for you if you love being outdoors, in nature and enjoy exploring.

Απέχει ένα λεπτό με τα πόδια από την πλατεία του χωριού με τα παραδοσιακά καφέ και τις ταβέρνες κάτω από τα δροσερά πλατάνια. Αποτελεί ιδανικό προορισμό διακοπές καθώς συνδυάζει Αιγαίο (6χλ. The house stands in the historic village of Portaria Pelion and it is about 500 m. from the central square. It's altitude is 630m., and has a spectacular view to Pagasitikos and the town of Volos. You can enjoy this view not only from the balcony but also inside the house. Furthermore the Ski Centre of Pelion is only 14km. far and the city of Volos 12km. Last but not least the beautiful beaches of Pelion are located in 31km. from Portaria.

The site is located in the village named "Horto". The village is located in Pelion, the mythical mountain of the Centaurs, where it is washed by the green waters of the Pagasitic Gulf and within a short distance you can visit the famous beaches of the Aegean Sea. The large city of Volos is only 45 km away, access by public transport or by private car. The village has a mini market and many options for food.
