We have two children (a 2 year old girl and a baby boy). We also have a small dog who is very friendly.

This listing is for a twin room at Chester St Backpackers, our small, homely hostel in the central city. The two beds in the room are made up and have electric blankets. We are are a long term stay hostel, set up for backpackers who are stopping in Christchurch for a while to work and save for their next stage of travel and students studying nearby. We are just down the road from Ara. You will be part of a shared house overseen by Pipi the cat.

There is private access, off street parking, a breakfast area, spa and netflix. We have 2 bedrooms, each with ensuite and superking beds. The main bedroom also has 2 single beds, the 2nd room has a single bed. Ask about a special rate for 1-3 guests.

Our deluxe queen room has one queen bed with ensuite bathroom and toiletries. Room includes a lounge chair, desk, wardrobe, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and a smart television. Your bedside lamps also double as wireless device chargers. Some have balcony access, add as a request for availability and we'll see what we can do. Enjoy free WiFi and daily room servicing.
