Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. This cabin provides an unique experience to enjoy a slower Hebridean pace with a special view of the changing tides, bird life and machair environment. This one bed cabin is ideal for singles/couples/friends with an additional fold out sofa bed for up to four persons.

Balranald Cottage is a former 'Black House' which was originally built around 1885. It has since been converted into a modern property which is a perfect base for visitors to explore the Outer Hebrides. Within the RSPB's nature reserve, our guests often comment on the wide variety of wildlife from the cottage windows. corncrake, short eared owls, hen harriers, kestrels and golden eagles can all be seen.
