Casstevens Homestead Farm House (Entire House)

Casstevens Homestead House located on 145 acres near Mansfield. great for long walks in the country, or a place to get away. This is a working farm with livestock. House is approximately 150 years old, dating back 5 generations. There are large back pastures for walking out in the country. Pets are welcome, but we do have Great Pyrenees on the farm to protect our chickens. They are very friendly but the will probably greet you at the door. We can stable your horses for riding on request.

Enjoy a spectacular river valley view, while you relax in this charming private cabin just minutes away from boat ramp access. This cabin sleeps four, with a queen bed downstairs and another queen bed upstairs. It has a full kitchen with a coffee maker, coffee and WiFi. Pets are also always welcome. Bring your fishing poles, boat or kayaks and head over to Hamm Creek Park to enjoy the tranquility of the river. Approximately 50 minutes from Fort Worth and an hour and 15 minutes from Dallas.

Located in the Historic District of Weatherford, this iconic home dates from the early 1900's. Updated with the latest Smart Home features, it still holds to its original character. Within an easy walk to Chandor Gardens and Historic Downtown. The home was created from local sandstone, petrified wood, and ammonite fossils and sits on a third of an acre. The back yard features an outdoor patio and is fully fenced. Please book for ALL overnight guests to avoid additional charges at check-in.

Take the ladder to the queen sized bed (low ceiling) overlooking the kitchen or enjoy a movie on the home theater. A well appointed kitchen will make you feel at home. You'll be close to everything historic Granbury has to offer. There's room to park your boat trailer and a public boat launch less than a mile away.

Make Memories Grab some marshmallows and share stories around the fire pit or snooze in our organic linens.

The house is near to a golf course at Kirtley park and we have golf clubs available for our guests. Across the street there is a lake and our guests can use the canoes and kayaks we have at the house.

We are located in the safest historical neighborhood in Cleburne, not to mention the cutest! We worked hard to restore this 1940’s home with loads of character and charm. In fact we love this neighborhood so much that we live one block over. You will also enjoy being centrally located. The drive to downtown, the Hulen park, Splash Station, or HEB are less than 2 minutes away!
