Tranquility & Vistas on the Farm in the Guest Barn

When you arrive at our 16 acre farmstead and enter the Guest Barn, you'll notice the construction materials which were salvaged from a nearby barn and corncrib. The timbers from these buildings were torn down, moved to our farm and rebuilt into a smaller “new” barn. It truly represents a real farm experience you can feel. While here, you'll slow down and enjoy the tranquility. Walk around the farm, make friends with a cow, watch barn kitties play, while gazing across the vast farm vistas.

Bright & Breezy Grain Bin Getaway at Wold Farm

You'll love this unique and romantic escape. Five miles down a gravel road, surrounded by the hum of nature, fields of prairie, and sunshine, you’ll find Wold Farm. We've renovated one of our vintage grain bins into a light-filled cabin on the prairie. One mile from the Turkey River, enjoy fishing or floating. Shop boutiques and local art in nearby Elkader. Stop at the famous St Olaf Tavern. Or just relax and soak in the quiet. Perfect for couples, a friend retreat, or solo adventure!

The EJ House 4 Bedroom 1 1/2 Bath

The EJ house was built in 1905 with the original woodwork, stain glass windows and front door. The house is a little over 1600 sqft of living space. The house has 4 bedrooms with three queen beds and one full size bed. Guests will find it to be surprisingly spacious and a comfortable place to work, play or relax. There is a full-size washer and dryer in the house. The house has central air for those warm summer days or enjoy the large back deck. The woodwork is original to the house.

Soak up the sun on the sandy beach while listening to the waterfall. Laugh and splash your kiddos in our pond. Beach chairs, sand toys, floaties, kayaks, and more.

The Kimball House

Beautiful Victorian home in the heart of Fayette only one block from downtown & Upper Iowa University. Features an updated kitchen w/ stainless steel appliances and family room w/gas fireplace. Formal living room & dining room have original hardwood floors; upstairs has engineered hardwoods. Updated bathroom has double vanity and shower. Downstairs 1/2 bath and laundry room has sink and shower. This charming home has everything you need to make your visit to NE Iowa fantastic!

The Cozy Corner Duplex

The Cozy Corner Duplex is equipped with all the amenities needed for modern living. The full kitchen comes with basic cooking utensils, Having a tea kettle and coffee maker readily available means you can enjoy your preferred beverages any time of day. For entertainment, a smart TV with access to Netflix and Hulu allows you to relax and enjoy your favorite shows and movies. The keypad entry provides the freedom to come and go as you please, enhancing your sense of independence.

Cushions Cabins West

Very private, secluded and relaxing spot within 30 yards of walking or biking trail. Enjoy wildlife, plenty of deer and eagles to watch off the large open front porch. Fire pits for each cabin with firewood provided. Grill provided in front yard. Two private bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Kitchen included microwave, 2-burner stove and full size refrigerator. Coffee make and toaster also provided. River for canoeing and kayaking within walking distance.

The Jude

Loft-like 1 BR/1 BA 2nd floor apt. located in historic Elkader, IA. This 1901 building has many neat architectural features including high ceilings, arched windows overlooking Main St. and wood floors. Large combo living and dining area, and full kitchen. BR has queen bed; also 1 twin air mattresse avail. upon request. Bumper pool table. Free parking. Fantastic DOWNTOWN location close to everything! Enjoy the Turkey River and beautiful Clayton County!!!

Cozy Casita

A peaceful little place to rest and refresh while visiting family and friends or exploring the driftless region of NE Iowa and SW Wisconsin. Nestled in the bluffs on the western bank of the Mississippi you'll be only a couple minutes from the bridge to Prairie du Chien and all the other places of interest up and down both sides of the river; including Pikes Peak State Park, Effigy Mounds, Wyalusing State Park and Cabela's just to name a few.

Berry Hill Flat

Berry Hill Flat sits perched on a bluff above Trout River Valley. Trout live in beautiful places and so do we! The Flat offers a king bed in the bedroom, full bathroom, full kitchen, living room, twin bed, and private ground floor entrance. It is the lower level of our beautiful log home nestled in the walnut trees. Minutes to Decorah, Waukon, or the trout stream in the Valley below.

The Store

Welcome to The Store! This place originated as a grocery store in our little town of Ossian, IA. We have given this building a fresh new facelift and turned it into a vacation home. Don't be turned away from the outside as we continue to update but embrace the charm we have built on the inside. This space was well thought out with stunning features that we are excited to share with you!
