Clifden, The Barn on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. Surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery on the west coast of Ireland. Looking out across the Atlantic Ocean at the Aran islands, gurteen beach and dogs bay beach. Hill climbing to the rear and beach walks to the front of the cottage, there are possibly few locations to compare with this cottage

Joe's Cottage

Joe's Cottage is a traditional Irish stone cottage situated 3 km from the heart of Clifden town centre. This property is full of character and exhibits many traditional features. The cottage is within a twenty minute drive of many local amenities and beaches. A picturesque public walkway runs beside the cottage and the entrance is only 500m away. If you are lucky enough to get a clear sky we recommend taking some time to view the stars as they can be breathtaking on a clear night.

Gortrusheen Cottage

Nestled between the hills and lakes of Connemara, this wonderful stone cottage is surrounded by natural gardens and wild, colourful flowers. There is endless walking and climbing with Connemara National Park on the doorstep. The cottage is located along the Wild Atlantic Way within easy driving distance of beautiful beaches at Letterfrack and Renvyle. Kylemore Abbey and Gardens are just across the lake outside the door which is suitable for fishing with boat hire also available

3 Bed End of Terrace house situated on the Beach Road in a peaceful location overlooking Clifden Bay. Short stroll to all amenities, restaurants, shops, , etc. Private Garden overlooking Clifden Bay to relax in and plenty of space for children to play The house was built c1904,as the Master Lighthouse Keepers house still retains a lot of the features of a house of this age. Original internal doors, fire place in the sitting room, and dresser in the kitchen .

It is the perfect place to relax in and enjoy outdoor pursuits from.

Our apartment is located on the second floor of our property. It has two en suite bedrooms ,one has a queen bed and the other has a double and a single beds.Both have harbour views. It also has a fully fitted kitchen/living/dining area with all the mod cons and free wifi and parking outside. It is a quiet and comfortable apartment. To access our apartment you have to walk the outside staircase at the back of our building.

There are 40 plus steps to walk down to arrive at Helen's Hideaway which brings you to a secluded, private area looking right on to the ever changing harbour.
