The local village is Ballinspittle, which offers all the basics and a few surprises.

The Coach House is an ideal spot for a romantic hideaway on the Wild Atlantic Way. The mezzanine bedroom boasts a kingsize sleigh bed , overlooking a cosy sitting room with a wood-burning stove for warming your hands and feet after a walk on the beach or a dip in the sea. For small families the sofa in the sitting room converts into a comfortable single bed. Lighthouse keepers; Home of the year finalist

Welcome to the lighthouse keepers house! We have been voted as one of Ireland’s top 50 places to stay by the Irish Independent #Fab50 ( number 26 :)) We spent two years renovating this 200 year old building. In May 2020, it featured on RTE Home of the year and became a finalist in the top 7 homes in Ireland. Irish lights built all 76 lighthouses & keepers houses in Ireland, and this is the only lighthouse keepers house in a town in Ireland!

The houses were built in 1850 for the naval officers based in Queenstown, as it was known then.
